SkinPhD Terms & Conditions

STANDARD COMPETITION TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd. runs regular digital/social media competitions and/or giveaways (the “Competition”) where one or more persons can stand a chance to win.

All participants during the term of the Competition agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

Duration

1. The Competition opens and closes (the “End Date”) as per specified date on competition post.
2. The duration of the Competition may be extended or curtailed at the discretion of SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd.

 Prizes

3. Each competition has specific prizes, as specified on the competition post.

Eligibility

4. Only entries received during the Competition period will qualify as potential winners.
5. The Competition is only open to natural persons, at least 18 years and older.
6. Employees, directors and agents of SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd., their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management or marketing of this Competition are not eligible to participate in this Competition.
7. Participants must reside in South Africa.
8. No person may on behalf of a third party enter the Competition. All entries must be made personally by a participant.

Valid Entry

9. In order to stand a chance of winning in the Competition, qualifying entrants must follow the competition rules as stated in the competition post.
10. Participants are allowed to enter as many times as they like, or if stated otherwise on the competition post.
11. There are no additional charges for participating in the Competition apart from the standard data costs. Standard data costs apply as per the user’s Service Provider and existing price plan for data usage.
12. SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd. shall not be liable for any costs incurred by the winner for entering the Competition or in claiming the Prize, where applicable.
13. SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd. is not liable for failure of any technical elements relating to the Competition that may result in an entry not being successfully submitted. Responsibility is therefore not accepted for entries that are lost, corrupted or delayed as a result of any network, hardware or software failure of any kind.
14. Data transfer speeds are not guaranteed and are dependent on network availability and utilisation.

 Prize draw 

15. The winner will be randomly selected after the End Date from all eligible entries who meet all the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions. The verified winner will be notified within 1 week after the competition closes, or if stated otherwise.

Winner Validation

16. All the information provided or related to this Competition shall be managed, captured and approved by SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd.
17. SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd. will use reasonable efforts to contact the winner/s.
18. SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd. shall attempt to contact the winner/s for a period of 5 (five) working weekdays after their name/s have been drawn and verified as a winner. The winner will be contacted during normal working hours, between 8 (eight) in the morning and 5 (five) in the afternoon.
19. Should a participant not be reached in the period mentioned in point 18. via the profile used to enter the competition, that person’s right to the Prize will be deemed to have been waived and the Prize will be forfeited. SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd. reserves the right to then award the Prize to the next randomly drawn participant.
20. The claim for the Prize will be subject to security and validation, and SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd. reserves the right to withhold the Prize until it is satisfied that the claim by a particular winner is valid. The selected winner must be able to identify themselves, in a manner determined by SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd. as the qualifying entrants to the Competition and must comply with the required validation procedure, determined by SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd., in order to claim the Prize, failing which such winner will forfeit the Prize and the Prize will be awarded to the next selected qualifying entrant.

Prize Presentation

21. The Prize will be couriered to the winner/s address, provided it is in South Africa.
22. Should the Prize be of such nature that the person needs to book a specific date to claim the prize, it should be done within 3 months after the competition closes, or if stated otherwise in the competition post.
23. All risks and ownership of the Prize shall pass to the winners on transfer/delivery thereof and hence all SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd. obligations in regard to the Competition as well as in regard to the Prize shall terminate.

Amended points on terms & conditions specific to the SKINPHD & JENNA CLIFFORD COMPETITION

All participants during the term of the Competition agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions:

Duration

1. The Competition is open from 1 September 2024 00:01 and closes 31 December 2024 at 23:59.

 Prize

2. One (1) lucky person will win a 2.22ct Emerald-cut diamond with a bespoke setting by Jenna Clifford, valued at up to R50 000. The prize cannot be exchanged for cash.

Eligibility

3. Employees, directors and agents of SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd. & Jenna Clifford, their immediate families, life partners, business partners and associates and any person directly involved with the sponsoring, devising, production, management or marketing of this Competition are not eligible to participate in this Competition.

Valid Entry

4. To qualify and receive a valid entry, clients must purchase each of the below listed treatments and products during the campaign period:
   – Silver Healing Gel OR Barrier Cream = 1 Glow Point
   – Serum OR Supplement = 1 Glow Point
   – SkinProtect SPF 30 = 1 Glow Point
   – Resculpt/ Rejuvenate/ Regenerate Peel (Refine Peel does not qualify)
   – Resculpt/ Rejuvenate/ Regenerate Peel (Refine Peel does not qualify)
5. Clients can receive up to 2 bonus entries, for any additional Resculpt/ Rejuvenate/ Regenerate Peel (Refine Peel does not qualify) treatments they have, after their first qualifying entry.
6. There are no additional charges for participating in the Competition apart from the treatment and home care product cost stated point 10 & 11.

Prize draw

The winner will be randomly selected and notified during the month of January 2025, from all eligible entries who meet all the requirements set out in these Terms and Conditions.

Prize Presentation

7. The Prize must be collected at Jenna Clifford offices in Morningside, Sandton.
8. The Prize must be claimed in the month of January 2025, on a specific date agreed between the Winner, SkinPhD & Jenna Clifford. By entering the competition, the winner agrees to have the winner-announcement and the diamond-setting experience with Jenna Clifford documented and shared on social media and digital platforms used by SkinPhD and Jenna Clifford.
9. All risks and ownership of the Prize shall pass to the winners on collection thereof and hence all SkinPhD (Pty) Ltd. and Jenna Clifford obligations in regard to the Competition as well as in regard to the Prize shall terminate.

SKINPHD LOYALTY APPLICATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS:

SkinPhD Loyalty Rewards Program Terms & Conditions:

The Loyalty Rewards Program

• The SkinPhD Loyalty Rewards Program allows you to earn points for every R 3 500 spend on services at SkinPhD stores in South Africa.
• Membership is free and open to all SkinPhD clients over the age of 16.
• Only one membership is allowed per person, and equally, a membership is only valid for a single person.
• Membership is linked to your individual cell phone number and email address.
• To become a rewards member, you must sign in on the SkinPhD App and select your home store.
• Your home store can only be changed once a year.
• When you redeem your points at your home store, your points are worth 100% in value.
• When you redeem your points at any other SkinPhD or SkinPhD Man outlet, your points are worth 50% in value.
• Your loyalty points expire on 31 October annually.
• Your tier will be adjusted on 1 November annually, based on your last year’s qualifying spend.

The SkinPhD Loyalty Rewards Program is categorised into four tiers: 

• Bronze – if you spend R 3 500 annually.
• Silver – if you spend between R 7 000 and R 14 000 annually.
• Gold – if you spend between R 17 500 and R 35 000 annually.
• Green – if you spend over R 38 500 annually.

Earning Points

• Points are earned on services ONLY, excluding retail products, the redemption of gift cards, purchasing gift cards, rewards, complimentary vouchers or purchases.
• Every point earned is valued at R 1
• Earning potential per category:
  • Bronze – 50 points/ R 50 earned for every R3 500 spent.
  • Silver – 100 points/ R 100 earned for every R3 500 spent.
  • Gold – 150 points/ R 150 earned for every R3 500 spent.
  • Green – 200 points/ R 200 earned for every R3 500 spent.
• These points are issued as soon as the sale that reaches the threshold, is completed.
• Refunds are credited against your annual spend, and tiers will be adjusted accordingly, including points and rewards earned.

Redeeming Points

• You need a minimum of 50 points before you can redeem your points.
• Your loyalty points earned are valid till 31 October annually, thereafter they will expire.
• Rewards can be redeemed between Mondays to Thursdays, excluding public holidays and peak season periods, or at the discretion of each store.
• When you redeem your points at your home store, your points are worth 100% value.
• When you redeem your points at any other SkinPhD or SkinPhD Man outlet, your points are worth 50% value.
• Rewards are redeemable against services ONLY.
• Rewards are only redeemable by the loyalty member.
• Rewards are not exchangeable for cash or gift cards, nor will any change be given on partially redeemed rewards.

 Communication & Privacy

• Members will receive the occasional communication regarding their membership, point balances, bookings, rewards, and surveys. These communications are non-optional and may include marketing communications.
• Personal information will not be shared with third parties, except where necessary for the operation of the program.
• SkinPhD reserves the right to alter and amend the terms and conditions of the operation of the Loyalty Rewards Program at any point in time.
